  • IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT?

    YES. SINGLE RIDERS MAX AT 250LBS. TANDEM RIDERS MAX AT 350LBS.

  • WHAT ARE YOUR AGE REQUIREMENTS?

    The minimum rider age is 15. If under the age of 18 the rider must be accompanied by an adult.

  • DO I NEED EXPERIENCE TO RIDE ONE?

    No. In fact they are very easy to ride. However, before your departure your Ride Oside Representative will make sure that you are 100% comfortable on the unit before your time starts.

  • WHERE CAN I RIDE?

    You can ride anywhere a bycicle can ride except on sidewalks, up and down the Oceanside ramps and Pier. If you find yourself in a lane over 30 miles , you must be in Class II bike lane.

  • HOW FAR DO THEY GO?

    They are designed to travel between 50-60 miles per charge based on the riders weight, speed, terrain and riding style. You will have plenty of time to see all you want to see.

  • DO I HAVE TO WEAR A HELMET?

    We provide helmets and locks at no additional fee, however, are only required to be worn by those 17 and younger.

  • DO I HAVE TO HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE?

    A learners permit, DL, ID and/or passport are all acceptable.

  • IS THERE A SECURITY DEPOSIT?

    Yes. Each rider will be charged a $300 Security Deposit. This will not be charged to your credit card, however, an authorization to hold it will be placed on your credit card until its safe and undamaged return.

  • DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

    We require 24-hours advance notice from the time you booked your rental. There are no refunds for same day bookings. If you show up under the influence of drugs or alcohol you will NOT be permitted to ride and you will be charged the full price of the rental. No refunds.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE THE UNIT?

    Each rider is responsible for any damages to the unit while in the rider's possession. Prior to your ride you will conduct an inspection of the unit and let your Ride Oside Representative know of any damages that you may have or have not found. A price-list for any damages can be viewed here

  • HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

    Dress how you feel comfortable out for a bike ride. Shoes are required. Closed toed shoes are recommended, however, not required to ride. If it's cold, dress warm..

  • DO I FILL OUT A WAIVER?**

    Yes. There are two waivers required to fill out, sign and submit in order for each rider to ride. They can be viewed here
